West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has invited applications for the post of Constable in West Bengal Police. The no. of posts for 2024 is 11749. The Government of West Bengal,2024 on the results of which recruitment will be made to the posts of Constable in under Govt. of West Bengal. The rules of the examination and other particulars are stated in the following paragraphs. A candidate should verify from the notified rules whether he/she is eligible for admission to the examination. The

WBPS (Constable) Salary
The salary of a constable in West Bengal police is in the Pay Scale of Rs. 5,400 – 25,200/- (i.e. Pay Band-2) + Grade Pay Rs. 2,600/-.
WBPS (Constable) Eligibility Criteria
-The candidates must be the citizen of India.
-The Candidate must be Matriculation passed out from recognize West Bengal board.
-The Minimum Age limit is 18 and Maximum Age limit is 27 as on (01/01/2019).
-Age Relaxation for SC/ST (5 Years), OBC (3 Years), Ex-Servicemen (3Years).
-The applicant must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language except the hills division (Darjeeling and Kalimpong).

3. Enter the following details/Information on Application form.
4. Enter a Valid Email ID to get the notification regarding Admit card/Exams and Result declaration.
5. Use the payment method using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet-Banking/E-wallets etc.
6. Click on Submit.
7. Print the Application form for further reference
For offline method:
The process of off-line application form is based on printed challan. Submit the printed challan in United Bank of India/India Post that will remain operative for the period from 05.02.2019 to 05.03.2019
WBPS (Constable) ADMIT CARD
The board of West Bengal Police department will issue the admit card 15 days prior to the examination date. Hence, Candidates will be notified to their registered phone and E-Mail IDs.
WBPS (Constable) INTERVIEW
The total number of Interview is based on 15 marks. A limited number of candidates will be called for Interview in accordance with merit. In the Interview, the general awareness and suitability of the candidate for public service will be tested.
On the basis of the marks obtained in the Final Written Examination and the Interview, a merit list of the provisionally selected candidates will be prepared by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board.
