Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), has released notification for the post of Assistant Manager Grade A.

Interested candidates may apply from 15th September 2018.

SEBI Age Limit

A candidate must not have exceeded the age of 30 years as on August 31, 2018 i.e., the candidate must have been born
on or after September 01, 1988. Relaxation in age limits will be given as per applicable rules.

SEBI Application Fee

Rs. 1000/- as application fee cum intimation charges for Unreserved and OBC (NCL) category
and Rs. 100/- as intimation charges for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates.

SEBI ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

General Masters degree in any discipline OR, Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Law OR Chartered Accountant / Chartered Financial Analyst /Company Secretary Cost & Work Accountant
Information Technology Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical / Electronics And Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science). OR, Master’s degree in Computers Application. OR, Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a postgraduate qualification in Computers / Information Technology.
Legal Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University / Institute.
Engineering (Civil) Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
Research Master’s Degree in  Commerce / Economics /Statistics / Econometrics/ Business Administration (Finance) from a recognized University / Institute.
Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
Official Language Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level. OR, Master’s Degree in English / Sanskrit /Commerce /Economics with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level from a recognized University / Institute

Age Limit Criteria

  • The maximum age limit of candidates should not be greater than 30 years, i.e. the candidate should be born after 01st March 1991.
  • The relaxation in age will be provided for the reserved category candidates as per the norm of the government which is given below in the table.

SEBI EXAM PATTERN

The examination pattern of SEBI Grade A is divided into three phases namely, Phase-I, Phase-II, Phase-III.

Phase I: Prelims Exam – Online exam consisting of two papers.
Phase II: Mains Exam – Online written exam consisting of two papers.
Phase III: Interview – Personality, skill Test

Syllabus of Phase I: Paper-II

The syllabus of Paper-II is specific and depending on the stream chosen. i.e. syllabus is stream specific.

Syllabus of Phase II: Paper-I

The syllabus of Paper-I is common for all the streams and is a descriptive type of paper. Mainly this exam is taken to check the drafting skill in the English language of the candidate. Its syllabus includes topics such as basic grammar and comprehension skills.

Syllabus of Phase II: Paper-II

The syllabus of Paper-II is specific and depending on the stream chosen. i.e. syllabus is stream specific.

SEBI ADMIT CARD

The Admit Card OF SEBI Grade A for 2021 will be released in online mode on the official website of SEBI. Candidates can download the admit card by using the following steps.

SEBI RESULT

The result for all the phases of SEBI Grade A 2021 will be released in online mode on the official website of SEBI. The result dates have not been announced yet but we will notify you about the result of all phases once the result will be published.

  • Go to the official website of SEBI.
  • Find and click on the result link and then go to the career section to select the desired stream for which you have applied.
  • The list of shortlisted candidates will be provided there.

SEBI SELECTION PROCEDURE

The selection for the post of SEBI Grade A is based on 3 major stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview.

  • The candidates must have to obtain the least cut-off marks (an aggregate of 40% for both papers in Phase-I and minimum cut-off of 30% in individual papers) in the Prelims Exam i.e. in Phase-I so that they could qualify for the Mains Exam i.e. phase-II.
  • Candidates must have to obtain the least cut-off marks (an aggregate of 40% for both papers in Phase-II and minimum cut-off of 30% in paper-1 and 40% in paper-2 ) in the Mains Exam i.e. in Phase-II so that they could qualify for the interview round.
  • The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the Phase-II exam and the interview marks together.
