SSC GD NOTIFICATION

SSC or Staff Selection Commission of India conducts SSC GD every year to recruit eligible candidates to the post of BSF, CISF, ITBP, CRPF, Rifleman etc. SSC GD Notification 2024 will be released on 24th November 2023 by SSC. SSC GD Recruitment 2024 will start with the release of official Notification.

Candidates who are eligible for SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2024 as per the eligibility criteria will be able to fill SSC Constable GD 2024 Application Form before the last date. For the reason that SSC GD Exam 2024 notification and online registration form will be released on the official website. Examination date will be released after completing the online form submission process.

SSC GD ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A. Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 – 25 years

BEducational Qualification:  Candidates should have 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board/ University. Relaxable upto 11th pass only for Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc. of Delhi Police and sons/daughters of Delhi Police Personnel & Multi Tasking Staff (formerly Class-IV employees) of Delhi Police only either in service, retired or deceased.
  • Male Candidates must possess and carry a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor Cycle/Car) as on the date of PE&MT. Learning Driving License is not acceptable.

SSC GD APPLICATION FEE

  • Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
  • Fee can be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard or Maestro Credit or Debit card
  • Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

SSC GD VACANCY

Around 26146 vacancies (tentative) are to be filled through SSC GD 2024 Exam. SSC GD Vacancy has been declared for both male and female candidates who will be hired for the post of Constable in BSF, CISF, CRPF, Rifleman etc. through SSC GD 2024 Exam.

SSC GD SELECTION PROCEDURE

The SSC GD selection process are based on three stages:

1. Online Written Exam (CBT)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Physical Standard Test (PST)

Note:
1. Those who qualify in the race event will be eligible to appear in the long jump and high jump events.

2. Three chances will be given to qualify in long jump and high jump events.

3. There shall be no appeal against disqualification in race, long jump & high jump, however, candidate may appeal against height and chest measurement on the same day of PE&MT before the Appellate Board.

4. There shall be no chest measurement for Female candidates. The candidature of female candidates who are pregnant at the time of PE&MT will be rejected as they cannot undergo the test. No appeal/representation will be entertained against such rejection.

5. Relaxation in height and chest (as the case may be) as mentioned above will be permissible only on production of certificate in the proforma as prescribed, from the competent authorities of the District where they ordinarily reside.

6. PE&MT will not carry any marks but will be of qualifying/elimination nature.

7. Use of drugs during Physical Endurance and Measurement test will lead to disqualification.

The Pay Scale of SSC GD Constable after 7th Pay Commission is Rs 21700- 69100.

SSC GD ADMIT CARD

Staff Selection Commission of India will release SSC GD Admit Card in the month of January for SSC GD 2024 Exam. Candidates are requested to visit this site regularly in order to remain updated about any upcoming notification regarding the same. The link to download SSC GD Admit Card will be provided on this page.

How to Download Admit Card

  • Go to ssc.nic.in and click on admit card section. Select download SSC GD 2024 admit card for Tier-I examination.
  • Then enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth/Password.
  • Finally click on the submit button, your SSC GD 2024 admit card 2024 will generated and take a print. The SSC GD 2024 admit card is issued and available 10 days prior to the examination.
  • It will be available in the official website of the Staff Selection Commission. Candidates are required to download the admit card and get a printed copy of the same.

SSC GD RESULT

After the completion of written exams and physical test, the Staff Selection Commission of India (SSC-GD) will announce the result through the official website of SSC.

SSC GD SELECTION PROCESS

The examination consist of  Physical Endurance and Measurement Test & Computer Based Written Examination.

1. Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT):

a. Physical Standard:

Note:

Medical Standard for Both the Posts:

1. The minimum distant vision should be 6/12 of two eyes (without glasses) and shall be free from colour blindness.

2. Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery for improvement of their vision (Eye Sight) will be eligible if their vision (Eye Sight) is found normal after the conduct of the following Tests at the Govt. Hospital:-
a. Contrast sensitivity.
b. Dim light vision(Mesopic vision)
c. Glare acuity

3. The candidate must not have knock knees, flat foot, varicose vein, loss or deformity of fingers & chest and joints, Halux valgus, halux rigidus, squint in eyes, bow legs and other deformity including loss of any part of body.

4. The candidates should be of sound state of health, free from defect, deformity or disease likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. No relaxation is allowed to any category of candidates on this count.
