Bank of Baroda and Manipal Group have joined hands to set up the Baroda Manipal School of Banking (BMSB) to cater to the needs of training young, bright graduates in order to make them job ready for a career in Banking in Bank of Baroda. On successful completion of the programme within the stipulated time period, they shall be absorbed as Probationary Officers by Bank of Baroda.
The course consists of -9- month on campus program and on successful completion of the course, the candidate would be awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Banking & Finance and will be offered appointment in the Bank as Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade / Scale-I.
However, immediately after joining the Bank, a -3- month Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in the form of On the Job Training will have to be carried out by the candidates at a Bank of Baroda branch, the completion of which will lead to the award of a Post-Graduate Diploma in Banking & Finance by Manipal Academy of Higher education (MAHE).
Candidates shall be selected through a selection process consisting of online exam (objective + descriptive) followed by Psychometric Assessment, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Nationality: Candidates from India, Nepal and Bhutan are eligible for this exam. Tibetans refugees, whose forefathers migrated to India before 1st January 1962 with an intention of settling down here on permanently, are also eligible. Also, Persons with Indian Origin who came over to India from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma and East African Countries can appear in the exam.
Educational Qualifications: Must be a Degree holder (preferably graduate) in any discipline from any university recognised by Central Government. Candidates should have scored at least 55% marks. There is relaxation in marks for SC/ST candidates. They need to score at least 50% marks.

Understanding the exam pattern before attempting the PO exam is one of the first steps to clear the Bank of Baroda Manipal Probationary Officer Exam 2020. The questions will come from the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General/ Banking/ Economy Awareness, Reasoning and Computer Aptitude. The total number of questions is 167, and the maximum marks would be 250. Students will be given three hours to complete the test. There will be negative marking scheme.

The date of the Online Examination is tentatively fixed on 28.07.2018. However, the exact date and time of the examination will be intimated in the Call Letter along with the Centre/Venue for the Examination, well in advance of the date of the Examination.
An eligible candidate should download his/her call letter from the authorised Bank Of Baroda website www.bankofbaroda.com by entering his/ her details i.e. Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy of the call letter/ Information Handout etc. will be sent by post/ courier.
