FCI NOTIFICATION
FCI or Food Corporation of India is the largest Public Sector Undertaking that deals with the supply chain management of the food grain. It was established on 14thJanuary 1965. Its first district office was opened in the city of Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.
Food Corporation of India conducts exam to recruit eligible candidates to the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil), Assistant Grade II, Assistant Grade III and Typist. Selected candidates can be placed at any one of the many branches of FCI located all across the country.

FCI EXAMS ELIGIBILITY
Age Limit: Maximum age limit as on 01st August, 2012 is 27 years
Upper Age Relaxation: SC/ST 5 years; OBC 3 years; PwD 10 years; PwD OBC 13 years; PwD SC/ST 15 years; Ex-servicemen (UR/General) 03 years; Ex-Servicemen (OBC) 06 years; Ex-servicemen (SC/ST) 08 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date; Candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of J&K 5 years (general), 8 years (OBC), SC/ST 10 years; Widows/divorced women/women judicially separated and who are not remarried-upto 35 years of age (general), upto 38 years of age (OBC), SC/ST upto 40 years of age; Employees of FCI-no age limit.

Qualification
AG-III (General): Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university with proficiency in use of computers
AG-III (Accounts): Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized university with proficiency in use of computers
AG-III (Technical): B.Sc in Agriculture from a recognized university
(OR)
B.Sc with any of the following subjects from a recognized university Botany/Zoology/Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/Microbiology/Food Science;
(OR)
B.Tech/B.E. in Food Science/Food Science and Technology/Agricultural Engineering/Bio-Technology from a recognized university/an institution approved by AICTE
Proficiency in use of Computers
AG-III (Depot): Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university with proficiency in use of computers
FCI SELECTION PROCESS FOR GENERAL, DEPOT, ACCOUNTS AND TECHNICAL CADRES
Selection for the posts will be based on a Written Examination which will be conducted by Staff Selection Commission. The examination will consist of two papers as detailed below for Post Codes A, B and D for General, Depot and Accounts Cadres. Candidates applying for Post Code C for [Technical Cadre] will appear in Paper-I and Paper-III. The examination in paper III will be of degree level. Paper I and II will be of Higher Secondary Level.

FCI SALARY
As per FCI 2024 notification, the salary for the post of manager would be between Rs.40000 to Rs.140000.

Phase-I Syllabus
English Comprehensive: Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Fillers, Sentence Errors, Vocabulary based questions, Sentence Improvement, Jumbled Paragraph/Sentences, Paragraph Fillers, Paragraph Conclusion, Paragraph/Sentences Restatement.
Reasoning Ability: Puzzles, Seating Arrangements, Direction Sense, Blood Relation, Syllogism, Order and Ranking, Coding-Decoding, Machine Input-Output, Inequalities, Alpha-Numeric-Symbol Series, Data Sufficiency, Logical Reasoning, Passage Inference, Statement and Assumption, Conclusion.
Numerical Aptitude: Data Interpretation, Inequalities (Quadratic Equations), Number Series, Approximation and Simplification, Data Sufficiency, Miscellaneous Arithmetic Problems, HCF and LCM, Profit and Loss, SI & CI, Problem on Ages, Work and Time, Speed Distance and Time, Probability, Mensuration, Permutation and Combination, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Partnership, Problems on Boats and Stream, Problems on Trains, Mixture and Allegation, Pipes and Cisterns.

FCI ADMIT CARD
FCI has released the admit card and exam dates for the Phase-I 2024 exam. The admit card is released for the post of Technical/Civil Engineer/ Electrical and Mechanical Engineer/ General/ Depot/ Movements/ Accounts. You can check the official website of FCI and download the attachment.
FCI RESULT
To check the result of FCI for both Phase-I and II. Check the official website of FCI. Usually, the result announced after 20-25 days from the examination being conducted.
