International Film Festival of India (IFFI) started way back in 1952, is an ‘A’ grade film festival accredited to the International Federation of Film Producers’Associations (FIAPF) and is one of the oldest and most prestigious festivals in Asia. Australia all-rounder Ellyse Perry has become the first player to reach the all-round milestone of 1,000 runs and 100 wickets in T20I cricket.
On Sunday, Perry scored an unbeaten 47 in Australia’s seven-wicket win in the second Ashes Women’s T20I against England at Hove, thereby reaching the 1000-run mark. In November last year, the all-rounder had brought up her 100th wicket by dismissing Nat Sciver in the World T20 final.
However, Perry downplayed the significance of her achievement. “I guess it’s lovely, but I wasn’t aware of it,” ESPNcricinfo quoted her as saying.

A research team at IIT Kharagpur has developed a technology which can generate energy from solid waste with high moisture content.
The new technology Hydro Thermal Carbonization (HTC) can convert municipal solid waste to biofuel, soil amendment and absorbents. These processes require high energy input to combust municipal solid waste generated in India which has high moisture content due to tropical weather, open collection systems and mixed waste.

CRISIL cuts India’s GDP growth forecast to what percent for FY 2019-2020 ?
Ratings agency CRISIL (Credit Rating Information Services of India Limited) has cut its forecast for India’s GDP growth by 20 basis points for FY 2019-20. It has lowered India’s GDP growth to 6.9% from 7.1%.
The development came days after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) cut India's growth by 30 basis points for the calendar years 2019 and 2020 to 7 per cent and 7.2 per cent, respectively, due to weaker-than expected outlook for domestic demand.
